“I hate seeing her everywhere – and the crowds around her”: A’ja Wilson is furious, criticizing WNBA officials for ‘ridiculous’ treatment: ‘If I get fined while she’s still being favored, I’ll request to retire.’

Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson is not holding back when it comes to the WNBA’s handling of rookie sensation Caitlin Clark. Frustrated by what she sees as unfair favoritism, Wilson recently expressed her anger over the league’s treatment of Clark compared to other players.

“I hate seeing her everywhere – and the crowds around her,” Wilson reportedly said, referencing the overwhelming media attention Clark has received since entering the WNBA. But her frustration runs deeper than just the hype. The two-time MVP believes the league’s officiating has been inconsistent, suggesting that Clark is being protected while other players, including herself, are being treated unfairly.

Wilson even took it a step further, calling out the WNBA for issuing her fines while seemingly giving Clark preferential treatment. “If I get fined while she’s still being favored, I’ll request to retire,” she stated, making it clear that she is fed up with the league’s approach.
